Formerly known as Project EVE, its official publishing title was revealed on September 13th, 2022. The team is mainly made of Blade & Soul staff.Stellar Blade is ShiftUp's upcoming first AAA game. It's developed by a new team at Korean studio Shift Up, which is helmed by popular character designer Kim Hyung Tae ( Magna Carta). The game is also described as a "semi-open world" action RPG. Project Eve has no release date estimate yet. Project Eve is described as a Triple-A console project and is developed using Unreal Engine 4, high-density 3D Scan Systems, Motion and Face Motion Capture. He said he was looking forward to the game. ![]() Yoko Taro actually already praised Project Eve in the past too, right after it was first revealed on April 4, 2019. Looks like he isn't bothered at all about how similar to NieR Automata the game could be. And the battle system's intricate details are still a mystery. We don't know much about Project Eve's story. Personally, I believe it's a bit too early to say anything though. Featuring a beautiful female android as the protagonist. Both are action RPGs and take place in a post-apocalyptic world. Whether you believe Project Eve is a rip-off of NieR Automata or not, I'm sure you can't help but make comparisons. Project Eve was one of the many upcoming PS5 games featured at the latest PlayStation Showcase on September 9, and part of the NieR Automata fanbase has been criticizing the Korean game, calling it a rip-off - turns out Yoko Taro himself shared his thoughts on the matter. ![]()
